Bradley R. Parker, age 23, is speaking now about the Purple Beech
and introduces Grace Harris who is 95 years old, this happened when
she was 16 years old, Chelmsford High, teacher was Miss Suzie
Emerson who suggested the planting, they chose the purple beech, 31
or more students went to plant the tree, George Bud, Arthur Dutton
held the shovel, Jesse Holt wrote the Ode which they sang, it was a
beautiful day, explains how some of the classmates married in the
future
