Images – Disasters

Glass negatives were taken by Arthur I. Emerson soon after a disastrous tornado struck Lawrence, MA, on 26 July 1890, photographs were taken in Chelmsford in March 1936 during the great flood disaster by T. Richard Davis, and film negatives were taken in Chelmsford by Mabel Paignon and Harry Shedd soon after the hurricane distaster of 21 September 1938.
