Back Border Brigade

The back border of the Chelmsford Historical Society's Barrett-Byam House is the home of seven majestic sugar maple trees. Previously, the underbrush beneath this trees was a mix of dying evergreens, bittersweet, poison ivy and thorns. We wanted to showcase our great trees by clearing out the underbrush and replacing it with rhododendrons and other native plants. Thanks to your contributions, the back border has been significantly improved!
